Afghan Tree Project
The Afghan Tree Project aims to replace trees in Afghanistan lost through decades of war and deliver fruit trees to families in urban areas. In 1983, Dr. Mariam Raqib left Afghanistan as a child refugee for America. When she returned for the first time in 2003 she found her country devastated by war. The trees that she loved and had once played happily under had been wiped out. Determined to make a difference she set out to replace the trees lost by war. We created the Afghan Tree Project logo and helped Dr. Raqib with the crowdfunding campaign.
