Disposable Film Festival 2016
Reduce, reuse, recycle
This year the Disposable Film Festival is about emotionally detaching from technology and rediscovering authentic and personal experiences. We used the identity system created for last year’s festival as the jumping-off point. To tie into this years theme, we took various icons and used the crumple effect to show the ephemeral aspect of technology.
For the past decade, the Disposable Film Festival has led the charge in transporting the best global online video content from the personal screen to the silver screen. Hailed by Moviemaker Magazine as one of “The World’s Coolest Film Festivals”, DFF utilizes screenings, workshops, competitions, panels, parties, and other events to inform and excite the next generation of filmmakers it strives to support. Commencing annually in San Francisco, the program travels on to other film festivals worldwide over the course of the year.
