Celebrating trailblazing women in music
To honor Women's History Month we celebrated twenty-one of our favorite recording artists by creating a series of colorful icons. Including Alicia Keys, Nina Simone, Lady Gaga, Madonna and more, each illustration combines two recognizable objects into a single symbolic icon to represent the artist's music or persona. The project culminated in a set of printed cards packaged into a silver embossed paper carrier that emulates a 7-inch record sleeve which doubles as a display stand.
